Saw this out there on the web and I think it epitomizes the thoughts of many who are mixed bloods and trying to find their way back to part of their own cultural heritage. Why hate on them?????? They may hold some of the only hope we have to keep our cultures alive. I just don't get it. Would it be nice if we were all full bloods? Perhaps so. But that isn't reality. A little about me and how I ended up here.....I was researching on ancestry.com and saw an article which led me to this place. I am very intrigued with reading various pages and learning new things. I am Ojibwe and originally from Minnesota. Presently living in Payson IL. I have three wonderful daughters and 3 grandchildren. Still young. Not old cuz I have grandkids. lol.

When the Pilgrims landed and made contact with the people who were already here, Natives.
